Jaws and TJ

turtle stretches neck
snaps at hand that gently holds
returned to nature

~~

red stripes, mottled back
strong shell protects from all but
collections of man

~~

tiny feet propel
claws rip anachoris leaves
us fascinated

Our turtles certainly did! Thanks, Bone.
