Of Not One - Poetry just tumbles on

September 17, 2007 | Filed Under Poetry, Poetry Tumble

With the exception of the first poem in this series, I am taking the last line of one poem to begin the next poem. To read them in chronological order, together as one work, please click on Poetry Tumble tab on the top bar. While you are there, read which poet’s line so enthralled me I begged to use it as my starting point. His poem, in its entirety is posted first, with his permission, of course. I add to it as the whim comes, though I would love to just write one continuous forever poem… but then there would be no time for anything else, would there.

Of Not One

of not one, but two
parents he came

of not two, but many
gene pools he came

of not one, but many
activities he was molded

of not one, but many
ideas he was exposed

of not one, but one
who knows his mind.
