The Time Keeper

Timbre of voice,
strength behind motion,
steel of heart
combined
to break through
earth’s layers
and
your denial
of time passing

you already ate
your fruits and veggies,
flooded yourself in water,
walked your 10,000 steps per day

but now you savored each moment
and remembered to play

and you thanked he who broke through.

    Wow! You can really belt them out. I liked the first stanza here because I think everyone denies time passing at some point in their life. It’s sure to happen everyday though. Keep up the good work.
