Daily Lives: Missed Opportunities, Part 1

Bone has moved 3WW to Wordpress! Today’s words are:

clumsy — fire — overlooked

I have a feeling the writers will come up with some interesting posts with those three words. Check them out here: 3WW

Missed Opportunities, Part 1

He was so clumsy about women
(and life in general)
he overlooked
fire dancing in her eyes
and saw only boredom
on her unsmiling face.

She was so focused on
baby’s drool
she had merely flicked
off her shoulder
as she rushed toward work,
she never felt the
fire in her own eyes.

Ooh, very nice. There is so much of real life hidden in there, wrapped up in such an efficient and lyrical package. I love this.

Whoa! It is easy to overlook the necessity of the fire.

Oh this was really nice, Marcia….so many missed opportunities. But somehow I believe that if it was meant to be…fate would bring them together again. Thanks.
