National Poetry month began today. I chose to start with One Single Impression’s prompt: laughter as my first prompt, after all, writing poetry brings laughter to my heart… OK, and melancholy, too, but laughter at the pure joy of writing.
Flaccid muscles fight
as humor scores a direct hit
melancholy overthrown
