National Poetry Month - Go!

National Poetry month began today. I chose to start with One Single Impression’s prompt: laughter as my first prompt, after all, writing poetry brings laughter to my heart… OK, and melancholy, too, but laughter at the pure joy of writing.

Flaccid muscles fight
as humor scores a direct hit
melancholy overthrown

    This is great! I never thought of melancholy and happiness being in a contest for me. I like that image a lot. It can help me out in bad times
