Selfish, an Acrostic Poem

Selfish

She demands others confirm her self worth
Even as they look to her for theirs
Lies fall easily in created sounds of tongue, teeth, and air
Flamboyant and inflated ego tromps over the quiet ones…
Instilled in herself, self worth greater than?
Shame on you for thinking that, she is merely living her own
Hell of low self-esteem.

often times it is those that act as if they are ever so in control,, that lack the ability to control even themselves… i know this only because when i was outwardly my most powerful,, i believe i was the most riddled inwardly with doubt…..
