Cautious - Human - Maybe: Three simple words leap out of Bone’s brain to bring wonder or complications and who knows what else to a writer’s mind. Check out other Three Word Wednesday thought streams here.
On Human Matters
When
Cautious by nature
coexists with
reckless by desireand
years are controlled by the former,
scattered moments, by the latterwill she be judged by either,
or seen as merely human?
Maybe, it will depend by whom?
Maybe, after the fact, it won’t matter
at all?

judging is something only a control freak human would be interested in doing when it is dealing with its most beloved creation… don’t worry about it,, if there is a god,, (s)he has no interest in judging anyone… it would be ludicrous……
but this is an excellent use of the words if you got me that riled after reading them huh???????

Excellent use of the words, leaving us all as confused as ever - which is, I suppose, the point.

This is so complex… and yet so simple.
Perhaps being seen as human is the highest compliment we can ever hope to receive?

Ah the mystery. Wouldn’t be worth doing any other way.
Very nice.

Very philosophical. My thought is that it matters to the individual, if the person can look on life with gratitude, or with remorse.

Very thoughtful! I liked the flow of words and the philosophical element of it. Reminded me of this:
God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of His own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of the players, (ie everybody), to being involved in an obscure and complex version of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won’t tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.

Loved that part, especially. I was sort of thinking along the lines of “merely human” with my entry, too.
