Colliding Worlds - 3WW

Three Word Wednesday words: blurred illegal match

Read where these simple words took others here.

Colliding Words

The lines are blurred in
your mind

because it is more
convenient to take the easy path
and your inner conscious and
convenience-fitting-in-genes
are bruising each other’s vision
in ongoing war….

in mine, this side is right,
my vision is clear

HARD OR NOT….

Illegal is illegal,
you chose to work here
and in this world,
your stride
needs to match the law

but in your other worlds,
the choice is yours,

I have no opinion
nor a need for one,
for that is only play.

I think I’m more like the character with the blurry lines. Wishy washy, not clear like the narrator of this poem. Great job dilineating different mindsets.

i am torn on this subject… never being one to feel it is my place to judge,, and yet seeing it in action,, first hand for the first time,,i am amazed by the sense of entitlement that seems to go hand in hand with just being here,, and yet that seems to be the only characteristic of our lifestyle that is carrying over… and i must say,, i do not like that…

As long as the legal allows choice, we’re sort of on the right track.

    Illegal is illegal,
    you chose to work here
    and in this world,
    your stride
    needs to match the law

I like this statement, this idea and wish more people would consider that. Just give it a little thought.
