The title of this post is the tag line to RV Poetry, a blog I started last year. Leon and I were planning to get an RV and I asked him what I should title my newest blog, intending it to be our travel blog. He said immediately, RV Poetry, misunderstanding its purpose.
Even knowing that title would scare away many RVers, I fell in love with the title. As with my poetry, the tag line came unintentionally, purely by instinct. I sat down to create a tag line and those words appeared out of nowhere – and they felt right – for me.
MeeAugraphie was merely a word I made up, combining, so to speak, me, biography, autobiography, and graphics. It served its purpose, drew me inward, reminded me I wanted to write and play and create, and pushed me out into the world of poetry again. But it was made up purposely, it did not come by instinct. I cannot tell you how many times this past year, I no longer wanted to sign my poems MeeAugraphie or Marcia (MeeAugraphie).
RV Poetry and its tag line marry things important to me: Leon’s quick mind (coming up with the title), my love of poetry, our want to RV in the future, and my instincts (via the tag line). That blog is where I want to be, that writer is who I want to be, actually, who I am, who I have been – and, I think, who I am supposed to be.
So, Tumbled Words and MeeAugraphie will remain online for now, but today are my last posts at either of them. All future posts will be at RV Poetry, whether they are poems, photos, rants, raves, or mere banter.
These past few months I have blogged little, read blogs even less. I miss it, them, you. I think it is time I got back to us all. I feel the tide of words coming in, I feel the rush of your words knocking on the shore.

Well then, congratulations. Finding a home you like is important, even if it’s “just” a home for your words.
