Michelle at Poefusion has given five words for us to use in her Friday Five post: blemish – eject – flinch – pout – dot
I normally refuse to do them until Friday morning, but I am hoping you will see it before Friday night and read and react to my request below my poem. I ask that Michelle, you, indulge me in asking in my Friday Five post.
Moss Gathered
It was a mere blemish
in the scheme of things,
worthy only of a pout that dayIt was but a single dot
in the pixel landscape of loveyet his flinch
when she hit the ‘eject’ button
prematurelymagnified in hindsight
multiplied in like
smothered in spotlight.MeeAugraphie

Please, if you have a moment today or Friday (the 12th), click below to leave a quick comment, Leon and I will donate a can of food to our local food bank in South Florida, matched by Shelly of This Eclectic Life, to hers in Texas. This donation is on top of what we give normally. If you also click through from there to leave a comment on Shelly’s blog, Leon and I are matching comments on her blog. Our son and daughter-in-law are donating cans based on comments on both my blog – and Shelly’s. Don’t let any of us get off easy!
Please note, this was not our brilliant idea, but that of a group of photographers in Vancouver. Shelly has links to them, should you choose to have them donate more as well!

I hope my comment helps your cause because I think you’re doing something very nice. I hope others will follow your example and leave comments because the end result is a human is fed. Oh! Almost forgot. Your poem is good too. Good luck. Have a nice night.

Loved the image of “pixel landscape of love”. Just exquisite. Your poem has such a bitter beauty! Most interesting!
And good luck in your campaign! A very special cause!

don’t know what’s going on but I can’t see the text when I type in my info (name/email/link), the text seem to be white on white
anyway I like this piece of writing, makes me think of how just one little move can change someone’s perspective or someone’s opinion
and I like the idea of comments for cans
