Poem’s last line leads to first line, whether moments apart or months. They do NOT always connect in thought, for words read or heard can lead us in so many different directions at any given moment. I think that is, in part, what makes writing these so much fun. Today I added poems number 37 and 38.
37. Unreliable Witness
“you know, as in never
go away?You did solemnly swear
you would never leave…”“Aye,” he responded
to her protector,
“those words I spoke
out loud and from my heart;
but my eyes forewarned
of the whisper that came
before we sealed our vows
with a kiss of infinity future,… unless new evidence presents itself.”

38. Evidenced Life
unless new evidence presents itself…
the path I’ve chosen, I’ll followunless new evidence presents itself…
the past will remain best choices madeunless new evidence presents itself…
today I will just be who I think I amMeeAugraphie

To see where the tumble of poems started, to read them in order, should you be like a child at the end of summer and at a loss for what to do next, should you just wish to browse one or two, or merely look at first and last lines and shake your head with understanding at which lines proved the most difficult to continue from, the link to the page containing all 38 poems in order written is both found as a page link beneath the header and here, Poetry Tumble.

Wow, Marcia. These are too neat – I followed them back for a bit and will return when I can spend a little longer here. I love what you’ve done with these…
