Solace Found
Shoes off, TV on,
a holiday, kids grown,at ready for tea or beer,
matters not, this recent night,stretched out, lost in plot,
spoken as his goal tonight.
It matters not, wife or
“Grand-Boxer”, Bella…each will make
her presence feltwhen solace is required,
and no is not a choice…his practiced hand
strokes her head,shoes off, TV on,
but attention turnsas plot thickens.
