This Late Night Gave Way to Memory’s Dawn

Prompt: Poefusion. It was to take a favorite poem and add a line between each pair of lines to make a new poem. After a long (though great) day, I had no patience to search through favorite poems; I chose to just grab yesterday’s poem and add a line after each line – then added to the title as well.
This is a great prompt. I am so excited Michelle chose it. Such potential it holds.

Y’all should try it — often. I know I will, but I bet it won’t always be easy.

Hello Marcia~ What a wonderful idea taking one of your own poems and adding lines between. I think this is a good exercise as well. At least it keeps the pen moving. Well done. Hope you’re having a nice night.
Thanks, Michelle. I wanted to do it with someone else’s as you had prompted us, just too late at night to search for one – and I remembered I had a short one to take the easy way out… MMB

I like this. What an original idea!
I think I will too add lines to one of own poems.
Thanks, Gautami. I know if you add lines to one of your poems it will be fascinating, I hope I don’t miss reading it. MMB
