Woman Stifled
She dares not run too fast forward
nor leap back toward pastyet to remain in place
stifles.She has not yet discovered
that walking forward
even while holding on
to what waswill free her.
But, she will,
for trial and error
are the professors of life

I’m trying to walk forward without holding onto my past and it’s wobbly ground at best. I hope to find balance one day soon. Have a great day.
