in spite of new excuses
In spite of best intentions
my cycle of sitting dormant
(lost within my thoughts)
continued.
In spite of new diversions
in spite of best intentions
my cycle of procrastination
(of much that piled up high)
continued.
In spite of old knowledge
In spite of best intentions
my cycle of starting over
(knowing what cycles do)
continued.
Or so I suggest to myself.
