04. Heart Rebuilding
br>the rebuilding of a heart
bears watchingfor it progresses much as this:
a cool breeze tickles your cheek
in the midst of a never ending summera pile of blocks strewn about pulls you back
to the castle they once were at age fourthe moment you think there is no more
yet another bite of chocolate remainsyou turn the corner and he is there
turning the corner and you are therethe catch in your heart as you view
a hawk swooping down from the skythe promise of a future kiss
the first bumbled attempt already replacedthe rebuilding of a heart
bears watchingif only so we, too, can follow along.
