Light War
Last night
Moon won its war
against the glare of landscape floods,
against the clutter of dimmed balcony and walkway lightsfor Ocean chose to reflect only it
and I applauded in silence.Today’s dawn
I realized it was not
Moon’s strong fight that won the war
nor Ocean’s strength of choice, but a well laid plan by Nature’s Physicist
who engineered Moon to rise higher and shine brighter.MeeAugraphie

What was my prompt for these thoughts?
(For those of you who know I rarely edit, this one I did on the second half, because my thoughts on the war changed midstream. I love poetry – and unconscious thought.)
