Last night
Moon won its war
against the glare of landscape floods,
against the clutter of dimmed balcony and walkway lights
for Ocean chose to reflect only it
and I applauded in silence.
Today&#8217;s dawn
I realized it was not
Moon&#8217;s strong fight that won the war
nor Ocean&#8217;s strength of choice,
but a well laid plan by Nature&#8217;s Physicist
